About the Honors Program

Cedarville Honors Program

Ready to unlock your academic potential? Cedarville's Honors Program is designed to challenge students like you to thrive academically through a specialized course of study that cultivates your unique skills. Courses in this program will challenge you to aspire to greater heights in your academic journey while enriching your major field of study. The foundational course is an interdisciplinary course in the history of ideas, in which you'll examine major historical, philosophical, and artistic movements from a biblical perspective. Once you're an upperclassman, you'll be able to choose from elective seminars on special topics like the biblical canon, the apologetics of C.S. Lewis, bioethics, and more.

When you graduate as an Honors Program student, you will have arrived at a point where you can evaluate the world around you, both consciously and unconsciously, through the lens of a worldview rooted deeply in Scripture. The honors program will pave the way for you to lead a successful and fulfilling life that glorifies God and reflects a servant's heart.
